As some of you may know, I have Scottish ancestry. So I learn as much as I can about it, as well as their phrases. For those who may not know, Scotland is part of the United Kingdom, along with England. But of course, some of their phrases can be a bit confusing, so here's one I've learned- In Scotland, a Clan is an entire family, or tribe. The Highland Games are an annual Scottish sports competition. Among the games played is the Caber Toss. The Caber is a large wooden pole, and the Caber Toss is an event that tests strength and skill. It's been quite a while since a fanfic has been added to this group. So I thought a fanfic contest would be a great way to add to our fic count, and since Christmas is coming up why not making this a Heath's Warming themed contest. Contest Rules: 1.
